Amazing window back to the past. Thank you!

The Autophone looks incredibly unique, and seems to be a dual Cylinder / Disc machine. Hope that one of these has survived!

I seem to recall a wonderful article on these (and more) photos of the Universal Autophone. I recall, there were at least four of five different photos taken during this photo session. I think the other photos are in another collection (s) and at least one showed another machine along with this Autophone. There may have been mention that photos were altered to show the same man shaking hands with himself.

There appears to be the lid of the Autophone on top of the table stretcher underneath that the reads W.C. Wolfe's Electric.....I wonder who Mr. Wolfe was. Was he the inventor of this machine and also into photography as the blind mentions "Art Studio W. C. Wolfe, Artist" ...??. If in fact the lid, was the machine promoted as the "W.C. Wolfe's Electric Universal Autophone"...??

Can you refresh my memory what publication the article was in please..?.I have it here somewhere.

Great pictures!!! Thanks for sharing. The last one looks like it has some of the Perfected Graphophones. Reminds me of one that showed up at an auction about a year or two ago.
