Hi all, just picked up a complete Victor IV in mahogany, but the tone arm pivot wont stay in the sprung socket on the bracket due to wear. Anybody got one they could sell me, or are there repros available?

Hi Mick, congrats on the Victor IV. Make sure you put a little oil in the hole first and try to get the spring working again. There is a little spring inside that pushes up.
If not it should be pretty easy to find or even to make.

Hey thanks, really enjoying my first Vic, (I have three Victrolas though) - the spring is free. On close inspection it looks like the pivot pin may have broken at the very tip and what is left is just grinding away on the detritus in the hole on the lower pivot. Either way the pivot is toast. There are a few indicators that the machine may have had a fall at some point I wonder if this is part of that
