Hiya folks,

For Christmas this year, I gifted to my son Jason, and his wife Kelli, a really nice ca. May 1903 Standard A "banner" Phonograph with 2 and 4 minute attachment (w/ original factory box), a really nice period 14" B&B horn, Model C&H reproducers with boxes, and some 2 and 4 minute records to suit.

I also gave him a really nice repro Edison catalog specific to the year, high quality scanned copies of the attachment installation instructions, and a couple of other items that go very nicely with the ensemble - including a framed color copy I downloaded off the innernut of the famous "Old Man and His Wife" litho of "The Phonograph", to hang near their "new" Standard in their dining room.

I wanted to give him a copy of the Standard Phonograph operating instructions, but the only copy I have is of the earlier Model A "Suitcase" variety, showing use with an Automatic reproducer, and didn't want this particular earlier version.

Can anyone tell me if the banner cased Standard instructions were updated for this model and the Model C reproducer, and if you've seen these particular instructions?

If so, can someone please post some high resolution scans here, or PM copies of them to me if they have this particular instruction brochure/pamphlet?

My thanks in advance,
Fran

Hi Fran,
Here is a copy I have in PDF version. May not be as high resolution as you are looking for, but here you go...
