Any info. on "Teddy" miniature portable gramophone

I bought this off a long time collector and I have not been able to find any information about it. I'm assuming it is legitimate and not made by a skilled craftsman back in the day. It has a patent and/or serial number as can be seen.
Does anybody have any information about this machine or the manufacturer ?
Thanks in advance.

Stephen

That machine is cool and looks legit... I love the horn.

Love the Bauhaus style logo, a barking dog / animal.
The logo is similarly styled to the Vox record label.
That is a nice cameraphone!

James.

Yes very similar to the Vox logo. Perhaps a bird? Although at first I saw it as a railway signal.

This ultra portable is certainly unusual. There’s another similar example in a Polish collection ‘Museum of Phonography’. This example has a different horn mouth presumably to reflect sound back against the lid rather than direct it upwards as in your example. Curious how the maker made both alternatives.

Here’s the link. I’m afraid there’s no more information on the manufacturer.

Thanks for that Jamie. Having a serial number stamped there had to be others out there.
I see the difference in the horn cut out. Mine at the top to project up and out and also mine being key wind which I assume is original to the machine. Soundbox is also different.
Looks identical in every other way.
