uploading rotated photographs--a possible solution

I can usually tell when someone has uploaded a photo taken on a cell phone. I believe a coordinate inversion has taken place. By that I mean x has gone to y or -x or whatever. What I do is email the photo to my laptop. I then completely rotate the picture before uploading to this website. If you have this problem and are unsure what to do, try what I suggest. It might help.

I've actually done exactly that but sometimes the pics show up here back sideways anyhow.
