Just received my Edison Spring Motor Phonograph
I just wanted to mention that today was great. Fedex delivered my Edison Spring Motor Phonograph. I purchased it from Raphael Cole who is on here, and I want to say that he packaged this phonograph in two boxes, in an exceptional manner. I don't think I have ever received a phonograph packaged so well since I started getting them in the mail. The machine is fantastic. It is all original and is ready for me to clean it up after setting for many years. I will begin that project tomorrow and I am sure it will take a while but it and my Edison Opera which I purchased last January are the highlight of my cylinder phonograph collection. If you guys ever get the chance to buy from Raphael, I want you to know that he tells you honestly about what he sells, his packaging is fantastic, and he has sold some great machines and I am sure will continue to do so for a long while yet. He is a very trustworthy seller.

Mike,
Thanks so much for the kind words. It was a pleasure to do business with you.
As I’ve mentioned before in many posts, on most cylinder machines, it is essential to remove the heavy mechanism and ship it separately. The time and expense of doing so is insignificant when the end result is an undamaged machine arriving safely, as yours did. I ship all over the world and the packing is the same, regardless of the destination.
