How do you remove the turntable from an Edison B-80?

Hello - I need to put a new belt on my persnickety B-80 Disc Phonograph, and it would be a lot easier to access the turntable pulley if I could remove the turntable itself. Unlike practically any other disc machine I've ever owned, the turntable does not seem to simply pull off the centre spindle. What am I missing? Is there a trick, or is it just awkward and complicated? Any help would be appreciated.

Loosen set screw on belt pulley under the frame and pull the turntable and shaft out.

Like Chuck said, you have to loosen the set screw on the belt pulley. It is located in the area where the belt runs. This area is covered with cork, so you may have to look very closely. On my A-80 a previous owner had wrapped tape around the pulley, so I could not find the set screw at first. Look closely, it is there and then the turntable can be lifted out. The shaft is part of the turntable.

Good luck
