Is This The Same VTM Company?

On the radio forum, there is a model 211 radio which carries a label indicating it was a product of the Victor Talking Machine Company. This radio is from 1934, obviously made after RCA acquired the VTM Co. See this link: https://antiqueradios.com/forums/viewto ... 1&t=371424

Is this the same company as before the acquisition, or did the Canadian branch continue separately?

A 'net search on an RCA model 211 shows this machine, which appears to be the same, except the grille is upside down:
