Interesting Victor Name Plate Question

Hi All

I just saw a Victor Victrola name plate that I have not seen before. It was. VV-S-215. so what is the S stand for in the middle. It was most definitely an original nameplate.

That particular model was a console with the phonograph on the right side. The "S" version left the left side empty to accommodate a radio chassis.

Just for reference, here is a picture of a VV-S-215 with a FADA radio in. There were other radio brands that were made for this also. This one is a walnut variant. Cheers, Russie
