It's a Frankenphone from top to bottom. A Victrola VI was never a horn machine. The horn machine parts are Columbia. From my point of view the Victor decal on the horn is a weak attempt to mislead a potential buyer. The only value to the whole thing is the Columbia parts. It's a total fraud worth a fraction of the price.

I agree 100%. If this doesn't constitute outright fraud, I don't know what would!

And the listing even includes the image showing what a VV-VI SHOULD look like. I guess they assume that no one will notice that those photos don’t show an external horn.

Lots of fun! Even the Three Big together in this photo...

An impossible tracking with that short tonearm, btw...

Yep! This one just checks ALL the boxes... wonder if it's a phono nerd messing with us and watching this space.
Wait- he DID forget to place the needle in "plow" position on that DD... 50 demerits!!

It's possible the OP didn't realize it was a Franken. The OP just seems to post links to eBay auctions with no commentary.

It's a "legitimate" eBay listing... and this is an eBay "Alert"...
Besides, it was already posted on the Crapophone sub forum...
