Anyone have any information about the Vichand brand of gramophones? I have looked and looked for anything about Vichand gramophones but can't find anything.

Haven't heard of the brand. Looks like the lid from one on top of an early table-top Victrola.

I went down the road of a manufacturer that also made other items.
The following link is for a Vichand Piano. The second post makes mention to the difficulty of reading the first letter as a V.

I haven't seen one before, but I generally don't pay much attention to so-called "off-brands."

Thank you! I found a picture of the Vichand piano logo and it doesn't match. I don't think that is the same company because of the different logo and they where made and sold in Britain (the gramophone is Canadian).
There where also Vichand sewing machines but their logo doesn't match either.

Do you know what year/Decade it is from?

Your phonograph is probably 1910s to 1920s but that's not very close. Did you find a tonearm and whatnot with it?

No I didn't find a tonearm with it. It has a reproducer but it is not original. It also has a thorens motor that I think is out of a portable and does not have the spring part. But it did have a Columbia grafonola motor stuck inside of it but not connected to anything. I couldn't use it as its motor though because it won't fit.

Do you know what this is for? It is in the front left corner of the machine and is the only one. I thought it was a needle holder but there are usually 3 holders and they look like this

My guess is still needles; it's just a budget machine.
