Considering there is one on Ebay right now at $1,500, you are absolutely right. What's more, you could probably get a new door pull 3-D printed out of plastic for a reasonable amount.

Same here, I miss my 8-9 (sold to get my 8-35). I'd be all over this if it were within a reasonable driving distance.

There is a guy who makes those door knob escutcheons out of molded plastic and paints them to look original. I bought some.

Maybe I should just break down and go get it. It's only 2,650 miles round trip.

I drove my car from South Carolina to Connecticut. 1996 Corolla up and back on the highway, with a brief stop in Delaware at the Johnson Victrola Museum.

Just do it! You'll have a nice Victrola when you are done. I paid more than that for my XIV.

The sellers have taken it off the market. I’ve been in contact with them to purchase it, but they changed their mind because they have been receiving messages, probably from people who can’t pick it up or don’t intend to buy it, that the asking price was too low.
