Has anyone heard of the brand name "Montero"?

I saw this one up for auction and the auctioneer says it's marked "Montero". Has anyone heard of this? Maybe a fake?

Seems at the least suspicious... The winding crank matches the one in the post-1921 hmv motors. The tonearm seems also an hmv, and the soundbox is hmv no2. The horn could be a repro; the narrow end and corrugations seem hmv, but the petals at the mouth...? Experts in hmv horns are called into!
The horn connection elbow is oddly deformed, and the horn support is not installed straight, could be a repro.
And Montero...? All parts seem hmv!
There is a plate on the motorboard, but i can't see it clearly...
Which country is it from?

I agree with Inigo the handle, escutcheon, brake, speed-control and turntable are all HMV. The back bracket and slip in elbow also appears to be HMV. The horn isn't HMV but is probably an original continental horn refinished.
Presumably the name 'Montero' is written on the plate that someone has stuck onto the cabinet. Even as a frankenphone this machine has some potentially valuable parts.

It would be nice to see the Montero name plate to confirm it is not simply a dealer plate. Many early 20th century machines had a dealer decal or tag affixed.
