Does anyone know if the 9000 portable should have an HMV 102 type clip or a more conventional Columbia spring clip?
I have a 9000 with Columbia type but the thickness and gauge of the clip appears to prevent it from slotting into the spindle. Should it have the flat type?

Here is an image of the clip on my 9000. It seems to fit a bit loose, but it stays put and takes some force to remove.

I've got two 9000s, a blue and a green, and they both have the HMV style clip, as pictured above.
