Servicing the Type 2 Changer

I have a Victrola 10-35 that I'm absolutely thrilled to own, it's one of my dream machines

! However, I'm having trouble with the record changer. It won't reject at the end, and it's not because the blade is missing the ratchet, but it's like the mechanism is resisting and causing the arm to skip. I'm having other issues with constant rejecting and weird stopping but I think I have that nailed down to issues with the cycle complete switch. Anybody who's worked on one of these (and survived) who could chime in with a little advice would be much appreciated. I apologize if my terminology isn't great, but hopefully you all still understand what I'm trying to say. Thanks!
Greg

Have you already read Carsten's info about this changer?

Bring it to me, I'll find the issue for you. Cheers, Russie

The thing with this changer is, from my limited experience with mine, that you'll get one thing worked out and just right and another issue will pop up. It took me a good month of messing with mine out of the cabinet propped on a homemade stand that consisted of a milk crate and a couple pieces of 2X4s. I did finally get it all running, but it took a lot of patience (and just watching it). As I mentioned to Greg already, patience is important, but difficult at times. My 10-35 is at my parents house so it doesn't get used much, but the changer has worked fine every time I've run it there.
