Genuine gramophone or frankenphone?

Genuine... and a nice one too.

Frankenstein? In case it is, seems well done. Nothing seems out of alignment nor date. The soundbox seems a golden exhibition, but who knows? The tt spindle seems anomaly long. The horn elbow seems not too well engaged at the support. ???

A pretty machine with nice moldings. It looks correct, although the horn is probably repainted and the soundbox has a repair and doesn't really belong but may be an old upgrade.

I agree with Inigo that the spindle does look a bit long but sometimes they are. No evidence of re-motoring.
