There are some great posts on the Antique Radio Forum about auction results for the radios but nothing from the phono guys. How about some reports?

Indeed, their focus is on radios, as expected. Lot 142 was the VE 10-50 Orthophonic changer that sold for $300. There was a Capehart 405E sold at $800. These results were on the ARF board posted by "azenithnut", he compiled a partial list so all credit for these results go to him. There were plenty of other phonographs in that auction, it would be interesting to know if prices are still sliding or have stabilized.

I bought the VE10-50X.
Completely full of records half Victor scroll dance and half Caruso and opera, 5 Tungsten needle tins full of unused needles, 4 Tungsten needle packets full of unused needles and a brass reproducer. It was refinished but who cares with all of those perks.
The Capehart was also a steal price, but I did not have any more room in my van.

Thanks found the list on the radio forum but only radios - wow, they have a massive following 801 members are currently online on the board.
Anyone know what lots 44, 212 & 578 sold for?
thanks

There is no published list that I know of , I attended the auction and tried to jot prices down when possible. Some machines went high, some average , but bargains were plentiful!
