Fellow Forum Members:

I have for sale a RARE Regina Hexaphone Model 102. Serial No. 1020017. This is an outstanding all original example with original finish, original decals, original sign board, and original mechanism.

At first glance, it appears to be a Model 101. However, I have been well informed and educated by two knowledgeable Regina Hexaphone collectors that this is an early transition Model 102. Apparently, the first 274 Model 102's made were shipped from the factory in the 101 "stick-and-ball" cabinet that has an internal metal horn. Serial No. 1020275 and after has the open smooth wooden horn. See photo of factory notes.

The mechanism will need servicing which has been estimated to cost around $800 by a well-respected coin-op phonograph restorer.

I have lots of clear, detailed photos for those who are seriously interested.

Asking $8500 plus freight shipping in a custom-made crate and pallet. Offers Considered. Personal delivery to the Union Phonograph Show in June very possible.

For those who follow Regina Hexaphones, the asking price is very reasonable given historical sales for nice examples (both privately and thru auctions - $10K and up). Here's a great opportunity to get a rare and unmolested Hexaphone for your collection.

Thanks

Mark
