New Addition - Early Victrola VV-IV

When I first started collecting one of my first finds was a Victrola VV-VI, which I restored and enjoyed for several years. I got my sister interested in phonographs and since she didn't have one, I donated the VV-VI to her. I guess because of this, I always had a soft spot for those table top Victrolas and when I saw a picture of an early VV-IV with the metal grill, I wanted to find one. I discovered that they were somewhat elusive, so when I was offered one for a reasonable price, I couldn't help myself. So, here is my newest addition... obviously it's not the rarest or most exciting machine, but I really like it...

Congratulations Curt - - those metal-grilled IVs are indeed tough to find. I came close to buying one at Wayne years ago, but the condition was a bit too rough for the price. I've always kind of regretted not buying it. Yours looks nice!

Thanks, George...
I figured for $200, I couldn't go wrong since it has horn machine parts and an O reproducer...
