SOLD - HMV 118 Colonial Project Machine - $200

I bought this HMV project machine at least 10 years ago and since then it's just been sitting on a shelf in storage. I'm never going to get to it and these aren't really my thing, so I'd prefer to just pass it along. It's mostly complete, although there is no reproducer - I removed it to rebuild at one point and am not sure where I put it (if I can find it, I'll update this post). The springs seem good and the motor is running, although a bit fast. The lid support is present but is detached and will require some adjustment or repair. I believe this should have an automatic brake, but this only has a standard one. The clamp to secure the tonearm when not in use appears to be a jury rigged but functional reproduction. And the finish appears to have been messed with, with some sort of top coat or something. It is what it is. If interested, send me a message or email at brianu73 at hotmail.
