I am selling my oak Edison Amberola 1A in excellent condition with a Diamond A reproducer.
It comes with a Diamond A reproducer for playing 2 and 4 minute celluloid cylinders, such as blue Amberols and Indestructibles. Motor board is finished in Gunmetal. Machine can play two and four minute celluloid cylinders, but would require an L or M reproducer for playing wax cylinders. Drawers include original clips for holding cylinders.
Cabinet and horn are in good shape, as well as the mechanism and reproducer. Finish is what Edison called a Mission Oak finish. This Amberola 1A looks and sounds great! Call Marc with questions at 951-331-1941.
Importantly, potential buyers need to know that only a few years ago, the motor was completely gone through, including new springs. Dwayne Wyatt of Wyatt's Musical Americana did the work, which is not a simple (nor cheap) task, with those very large and powerful springs."

Will ship freight at buyer's expense.

This video shows this machine using an M reproducer which is not included in this sale.

Why is this still for sale? Is there anything wrong with it, be it unmatching serial numbers, etc.?

Yes, it does have matching numbers. The serial number is 2338 on the maker's plate, the motor, and the cabinet. see pics.
