I am restoring a Victor E front mount serial number E 49443 and the reproducer needle does not pass through the centre of the turntable spindle. It reaches past the spindle. So either the wooden arm is too long or the cast metal support arm is too short. Could someone please give me the correct lengths for the wooden arm and the correct horizontal length of the support arm as measured along the table top. My support arm is 7 ⅞ in. and the wooden arm is 11 in.

My E sn 30,081 traveling arm is 11-⅛" long from the centerline of the soundbox throat to the centerline of the pivot, and the support arm is 8" from the case to the centerline of the pivot measured parallel to the side of the case.

Mine has a metal traveling arm. On the off chance the dimensions were different for those and you have a mix of wooden arm with "metal arm type" fixed arm, my fixed arm's pivot appears to be just about 8.25" out from the base. The metal traveling arm, from the center of the reproducer's throat to pivot, is 11".
