Fletcher Henderson band playing a great riff number! That band was among the first to arrange jazz for a big band in the 20s, and cook up the new sound of jazz called swing!

According to Walter C. Allen's Bio-Discography of Fletcher Henderson, p. 262, "Jangled Nerves" was recorded in Chicago on April 9, 1936. The thirteen-piece Henderson band that day included soloists heard here: Chu Berry, tenor sax; Roy Eldridge, trumpet; Buster Bailey, clarinet; Ed Cuffee, trombone; Sid Catlett, drums. Arranger, Roger Moore or Fletcher Henderson. There are fourteen repetitions of the basic 12-bar blues structure, with bridge material and a coda.

This is one of the classic recordings! Thanks for posting.
