They fit the groove PERFECTLY, and they sound lovely. 8 out of 10 original Diamond Disc styli are borderline usable at this point, over 100 years since the DD was introduced to the world.

I have several Diamond Disc machines whose reproducers I've worked on myself, but wanted a "premium" job done for my favorite regular player. Wyatt did a complete rebuild last year with one of these new styli and his new diaphragm. It is the best-sounding machine of the bunch!
I'm convinced that a good diamond will make any reproducer sound better, no matter what diaphragm you prefer.
