I know this a bit off-topic for this forum, but I am hoping for some re-direction.

In the middle of the COVID crisis, my (favorite) 90 year-old aunt passed away. My aunt & uncle ran a TV-Radio repair store I grew-up in late '50's to early '70's. My keepsake from this is a nice RCA 45-EY-2. The cartridge & amplifier work. Needs mechanical work. As I remember, these EY units were a pain to get just right.

Not many records, but there is a small cache of RCA "Record Preview" records, marked "Not for Sale" that I guess he got in the early years when he still sold TV's & record players. I know, in general, 45 records have little value. I'm looking at titles here from Homer and Jethro, and Little Richard! They are un-played. How can I check out their value (if any)?

Those 45 players are fun but they usually need work. The capacitors and cartridge usually have to be replaced and mechanical servicing is needed due to the rubber parts breaking down. Parts are available, and there are good instructional videos on YouTube.

The Homer and Jethro record is not terribly interesting, maybe $5-$10. Little Richard on RCA however is more like hen's teeth. According to some (older) price guides I have,the value is something like $300-$500 on a good day, especially in mint, unplayed shape. Oddly enough it's worth a bit less as a promo because the "stock" copies sold so poorly. Also be aware that there are repro copies of this record. Congrats on a nice find!
