Im Marek from Slovak Republic (middle Europe ). Im new on this forum and Im happy to find the site like this with lot of precious information about old gramophones.

I am looking for parts on my gramophone Junior Monarch. It was produced by Detutsche Grammophon AG around 1903. Company Deutsche Gramophon was producing gramophones from parts, which were manufactured by HMV company. So I am lookig for some parts from Victorla machines, especially Victor 0,1,2 and 3.
I marked the parts on the pictured for easier identification.

spirng from governor - from victor 1 motor, but this part is not necessary, because i can make it myself

regulator, which consist from screw and escutcheon. I thing it was same on victor 0,1,3

horn elbow
taper tube
sound box crook, and plug for it - this three parts is same, i thing for victor 1,2 and 3, but i need horn elbow and taper tube from earlier models (same as on the picture with parts for victor first), because newsies didnt has clamp plate(part 1172) which is holding horn elbow and my gramophone have holding with clamp plate

whole break - on my gramophone was round brake and between holes for screws is distance 3 cm (1.18 inches), so it is not common for victor machines and i thing it was use for earlier models like on the picture with parts for victor 0, but i am not definitely sure if it is same brake as on the color pictures (brake, brake and opening part), because the brake on the color pictures has longer lever i thing. But in my case I need brake wiht longer lever, same as on color picture

cabinet lid support - like on the picture with cabinet parts, it was use for victor 1,2,3,4 cabinets

whole openning mechanism - like on the color picture, i could not found it in catalogue with parts, but I thing it could be part with number 1311 on picture with cabinet parts

sound box - but i beat in auction and i hope, i will win

Welcome to the Forum. I think you are the only member from the Slovak Republic so far. I think I am the only member living in the Czech Republic.

I found a picture below from a 1904 French catalogue. Is this the machine you are trying to complete? Perhaps you could post some pictures of it here.

Regarding your gramophone parts, you should be able to get the governor spring and a nice reproduction elbow from Ron Sitko. The other parts will be more difficult but are certainly obtainable. I agree with Shane that George Vollema might also be able to help.

Hallo Marek

You first need to determine what model you have - the picture from Valecnik shows the junior monarch, recognisable thru its lower and upper beading around the case.

The Deutsche Grammophon / Vic 0 style model pictured at "brake,jpg" & "brake and opening part.jpg" is not a junior monarch.

This has an importance regarding the spares you are actually searching for, as the Junior monarch had the larger style tone arm wheras the machine you pictured has probably a smaller size.

yes, the machine on the color picture has another type of tone arm, but this is the only picture of my brake what i found.
I took picture of my case and horn for better determine model.
I post here some other picture what I find on internet.

That's a great advert. Interesting that even at this time, ~1904, 05 that "Czechoslovakia" was part of the Austo-Hungarian Empire the advertisement is in local language when the official language was German.

Could you possibly make a more clear pic of the advert?

I was looking too for that type of brake for my junior monarch but I never find it as spare part. The victrola doctor never replies to my request by mail about that piece. I finally choosed a "bullet" type brake, maybe incorrect but easier to find.
You can cannibalize a similar machine to find all these parts however and maybe you can save some money too.
I'm from Italy and the parts you need are almost impossible to find piece to piece here.
