Wanted: Pathé Actuelle Parts

I am a little out of my comfort zone with Pathé machines... However, I may be coming into possession of a Pathé Actuelle (Cabinet only) in the future and was curious how hard is that unique horn/tone arm assembly to find?

I hope it isn't another one of those situations like the Harmony/Busy Bee/Aretino sound box, more expensive and hard to find than the machine itself....

If the parts are too rare, I may pass on the purchase of the cabinet. As always, I value the input from fellow collectors. Hope everybody is well! - Chris

it might be easier to find a complete machine with a beat up cabinet just for the parts you need, and then make one machine out of the 2

Oliver - I agree.... And, the cabinet is no longer available so it evidently wasn't "meant to be" for me... I will stay on the hunt.

Being on the hunt is 91.72% of the excitement.

Hopefully the Pathé cabinet went to a good home and will not be re-purposed.

I actually saw the listing that you got it from, its really beautiful in oak and I would have considered it more if the parts weren't so hard to find. I hope you can find a source of parts to complete it. The 2 front doors are missing as well correct?

That's the one! Southeastern VA area, right? I find myself getting more "picky" than I used to be - but that looked pretty cool for the price point and caught my eye. At first, I thought it didn't have any original parts. Then, when I looked closer, it appeared to have the correct motor, crank, and some needle cups. Too bad about those doors, though. Either way, somebody got it - maybe a fellow forum member? Hope so.
