Need to find a pair of square Soss invisible hinges.

1 ¾ inch long, each mounting plate is ⅜ inch wide, 'hinge' portion is about ½ inch deep.

Good used, or new-old-stock would be ideal, nickel finish preferred,

The Soss company does not manufacture the square end hinge any more, but said the item was a 102.

Thanks for checking!!

I have a pair, but I can't offer them to you because I'm using them -- they're attached to my Columbia 'Elite'! Thank you for giving a name to these odd, sturdy and, indeed, invisible hinges; I never looked closely at the stampings and just assumed that they were something Columbia dreamed up. They seem to have been fond of odd hinging -- the 'Favorite', two years later, features hinges built into the columns of the doors (which had to be replaced the next model year by louvers, after Victor sued the pants off of Columbia for violation their patents on doors. Doors!)

Are you restoring an 'Elite'? It's a great little machine. I'd be surprised if you haven't already looked on eBay, but it might be worth a search. I just vaguely recall once seeing hinges a lot like these on a very well-made machinist's tool cabinet from the 1910s, but I didn't look at them closely -- but if they were commonly in use from Soss at the time, maybe see if there's a cabinet restoration hardware source online? Just spitballin'...
