My 8-30 credenza's gold plating is quite deteriorated. I would like to have it all gold plated yet I hear most gold plating does look over done. I have seen some good restorations with muted, darker gold plating. I would love to find someone who would do a great thorough job. I am new to the phorum and do not know how to post pics yet. Thanks in advance for any information, recommended platers, and just opinions.

Gold plating is not inexpensive! You can have plating done in matte gold or in bright gold. Discuss your exact needs with Steve.
