HMV Automatic Instructions

Recently came across this "plastic" ivorine type instruction panel for the HMV Automatic. It's the first time I have seen instructions on anything other than paper or cardboard ! Maybe HMV thought the machine was so complex people would need to keep the instructions for a long time !
Anyone else ever seen one ? (it even has it's own part number 8169)
