Horn ID help...

Today while out and about, I saw a horn with an unusual mount on it. It was a red paneled horn, much like the type and size that you would find on a Standard Talking Machine, except that it reduced all the way down as if it were for a cylinder player. Also, the only way that it could attach to the machine was by means of a butterfly-shaped bracket that attached to the horn by a single bolt through a single panel of the horn.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? I wish I had snapped a picture!

Your horn is for a Busy Bee front mount phonograph. Google Busy Bee front mount and you will see it.

Thanks! That's the one. Do they have any significant value?

No significant value. They are pretty common but usually faded and have circular scratch marks on them where the butterfly mount was accidentally rotated around on the horn.
