................................

From what I have gathered, these uncommon records were likely made with Domino Phonograph Co. (USA) masters between June 1916 and August 1917. Some masters were reportedly used by Concert and Melodograph.

These are 7” hill and dale recordings, and I could only test them with a bamboo needle.
They are surprisingly long playing at 78 rpm (see times).

Simple Confession (180-A) (small label abrasion)
3 min. 35 sec.

Concert, 565 V
Narcissus (181-A) (deeper scratch, passes with few thumps and ticks)

V+ (78) An average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.

V (78) Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
