Here we have an awesome battery box that would work with a Class M or an early Columbia electric machine. The box itself is finger jointed, has two battery terminals (marked + and - in the wood), and a cool early plate from Chicago. It has been set up with a sealed lead acid 4 volt (4.5 Amp Hour) battery. Its fully charged and easily drives a Class M or early Columbia electric phonograph. All you need to make it complete is a 4 volt charger, which is readily available.
It looks like one on an early Bell Tainter in a Columbia picture!! So cool!
