Nice example- is is yours, are you looking for one, or did you want to show what one looks like?

Bought it yesterday, finished cleaning it this morning. LOVE IT! and felt like sharing with people who appreciate these things.
First year of production, 1925. Centered turntable, self-supporting soundtube- a superior design compared to later versions with overhanging brackets which are usually busted.
This one was all scratched up but cleaned up nicely with Danish oil and 0000 steel wool.
Man does it sound good! That's what it's all about.

that credenza is in phenomenal condition - the finish, the gold plating, and especially the feet... no splitting or water damage (from basement storage) like mine. I love those early two door models. nice find.

Is it true the 4 door Credenza's sound better? The doors being closer to act as an extension of the horn.

I don't think the doors on a 4 door Credenza make much difference, generally they're nearly flat against the case when open. I agree that the self supporting arm seems a better design than the one with the bracket (it works fine on mine) but I've heard that they were more fussy to adjust which is why Victor went back to a tried and true style.
