I have two Cadillac 8 inch records in poor condition in my collection. (#1607 and #1618) I do not have a camera to show a photo. Does anyone know anything about this label, history, or record value? I am considering trading, selling, or just keeping them for label type.

According to Sutton and Nauck's American Record Labels and Companies, it's a 1917 label, vertically cut, which drew on Operaphone masters and was pressed by Operaphone for the Clements Company. Certainly not a common label at all. If they're in poor shape, they'd only have any significant value to label collectors. As far as "how much", I can't hazard a guess. These odd labels are collected by some, I always grab odd labels when I see them, but I've never paid a fortune for anything I have.
