I'm a newbie in the forum, thank you for welcoming me .

I have a Homocord Electro with two spring barrel motor in progress
of spring replacement.
I have seen some videos and instructions of spring repairings but
haven't found anything of homocord motors.


So, I need some help for removing the drive shaft to get
barrels separated and have access to remove cover of barrels.
The rod seems to be clean without any locking wedge or screw on either end.
I managed to get bottom barrel moving a little bit by rotating the
barrels "wrong way", but not enough to get it through all the way.

You'll need to remove the spring barrel covers when you get to the point you're at in the last photo. They will be pressed on and may be difficult to remove. It's also possible that the center hole in the cover has a keyslot in it to allow the driving pin on the shaft to pass through. (The drive pin that I refer to is what hooks onto the spring. With the barrels apart, as in the last photo, you have already disengaged the pin from at least one spring.) With the barrels separated as you have them, see if you can spot a keyslot in the center hole. If so, rotate the shaft until the drive pin, (which you can't see as it's on the shaft portion inside the barrel), aligns with the slot and allows the shaft to come out.

The trick was to slide top covers off using screwdriver and leave them on the rod.
Actually the shaft can’’t be pulled out through cover plates because of taps.
