Our colleague soundgen, times ago, in the UK, used to serve gramophonic goods and added an interesting flyer with all the parts and services he provided. Those were the times with almost no Internet, except the email, and lots of dealing by snail mail...
That flyer of his was extensive, and had similar tables with sizes of diaphragms and springs for the different brands and types, measures and all, adding also his proper id code for each product. I've bought thousands of steel needles from him, and a dozen springs from him in the nineties, when I was feverly buying gramophones and I needed all these parts for overhauling and for having future spares.
