I just picked up an upright Kimball phonograph with a some what unique auto stop mechanism. Does anyone know how it works?

Thanks!

Pictures of it would help a lot... there are a lot of different auto-stops.

Here's a photo showing the auto stop dial and pin mechanism by the tone arm base. I notice that pushing the pin with the tone arm lever disengages the brake and starts the turn table spinning and the automatic stop is activated and stops the record but have to push the needle further to the left to make the turn table stop. How do you adjust the auto stop so the record stops at the end of the song? Just need the basic steps from someone that knows or may even have a similar Kimball machine.

Thanks!

Is this a Kimball where the auto-stop is on the top of the motor board or the bottom?

Could you do a picture with the turn table lifted off?

Here's a pic with the turntable off, and a couple of the phonograph.

When you put the reproducer in the last grove of the record your turn the auto-brake dial so the pin sticking out is meant to hit the part attached to the tonearm. All the mechanics for the auto-brake are under the motor board, I'd suggest just lifting it off and seeing if anything looks odd.
