Does anyone here know any reputable folk near or on Long Island who are able to repair those late 20s and early 30s electrolas with the magnetic pickups?

If you need just the pickup repaired/rebuilt (and you always should), send it to Chuck Azzalina. He’s on here, or I’ll shoot you his contact info if you PM me.

If there’s more to it, let us know the specifics of what you need and we can direct you to the right folks.

It’ll need all the work that they typically need after many years dormant. All condensers replaced, the changer and motor should probably be serviced, so should the radio and the pickup like you said. I’ll be sure to contact him for the pickup, but as for the rest of the work I still need someone.

Give us the model designation and that will help a lot. We now know it has a radio, and a changer, which adds quite a bit to the scope.

It’s an RCA 331, one of those in their Duo line with the late changer that is simply an arm that goes over the record.

Yeah, I live close by and it was very cheap. I also have 2 other non changer electrolas that need work.
