Hi All,
Just came across a bunch of motors and am trying to identify the brand, model and year it was made ? Please see the pics attached for reference.
The help is very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

I can't date it with any accuracy, but it's a Parlophone motor.

Thanks Barry. Any idea what type of Gramophone this motor was used for?
Thx Chris

I thought at first this was a single-spring motor but it appears to be double-spring? Quite early and should be suitable for most horn machines of the 1910's. Not necessarily just Parlophones but I believe the Carl Lindström Company, which owned the Parlophone/Parlophon name, supplied parts to other, particularly German, Companies.

I agree with Jamie. Seems to me that it was originally a single spring motor. Or possibly a doble spring but with a different barrel (not sure this word makes sens in English).
I have some Parlophones in my collection. Maybe tomorrow I'll take some pictures for you.

How does it work ? Is the top barrel casing part of the motor top plate ? welded to it in some way ? very odd

Thanks everyone for your help and info. I didn't realise it was from the 1910 era. I'll check tomorrow and upload some additional pics of the spring barrel. Would be great to see some photos of the Parlophone that would be awesome.
Cheers Chris

Hope this helps!
The motor showed in the first picture looks very similar to yours. Also the bigger spring barrel.
Please see the catalogues I have at the following link:

Wow the photos and link are very helpful thank you. Looks exactly like the motor I have. Please see additional pictures. The double spring barrel seems very much part of the original motor.
Thanks again for everyone’s replies.
