What Is It? Large Cylinder Dictaphone Type Machine??

This big machine came into the shop today. It is large, about the size of an Edison triumph. Looks like some version of a Dictaphone. The dealer label is in Dutch, I believe.

The label states just an adress:
C. De Bink & Son
Stille Rijn 9 - Leiden
The adress is from an (electronic) printing office, established in 1882, that still exists today ^^

My speculations regarding the bells are as follows.
The top bell is to let the person speaking know that the record is nearing the end. Note the trigger protruding the bedplate and how it might interact with the carriage.
The lower bell is to let the person speaking know that the spring needs power. The location of the trigger is near the spring gear and might interact with it in some way.
I think the person speaking would need these audible cues while they are composing and recording their thoughts.

As with a typewriter carriage bell one of the bells warns of the impending end of the recording blank.
I suspect that the second bell gives a pulsed ring only when the machine is recording to let you know that the cutter head is down and this is both good the make sure you don't damage prerecorded section or to remind you to keep talking.
I will have to go and see if the ediphone has both of theses features it certainly has a running out of cylinder bell.

I looked up this address on Google Maps and it is a beautiful location, though the building is a bit run down.

Here is a photo comparing its size to an Edison Home phonograph. It is pretty big.

This is certainly something I've new encountered before, in person or on the net.
It definitely has more in common with an Ediphone than a Dictaphone.
I'm wondering what the TPI is on this one- 100, 150 or 200?
Could it possibly be an Edison Bell creation?

I think you've found it! I finally had a chance to examine this machine today and found a recorder and reproducer. The recorder has the EWC logo on it and everything else seems to match well. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the cabinet that identifies the company. Might have been refinished some time in the past...
Any idea what the final bid was on this auction?
