Hello all,
I spotted this for sale locally at $800 with 20 diamond discs. I was wondering what the value of this phonograph would be? They sent me a video of it playing and it seems to work well.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you I’m advance.

These are pretty uncommon, but I think $800 is pretty high, even for a complete, working example.

This is a belt drive model with a weak single spring and a small horn. It's not a machine you'd use as a frequent player. I owned one briefly but passed it along to someone else for basically what I paid for it.

Having said that, if this is a machine that's been on your want list, this one looks to be pretty clean and may be worth considering, especially if you can get the price down.

I agree with 52089. I bought one about 12 years ago in similar condition for around half what your seller is asking -- and a lot of phono prices have softened since then. It's an interesting machine that I wanted primarily for its looks, but the belt-drive motor at times can struggle to maintain speed.

52089 and AZ*, thank you both for your advice. I like to use the phonographs so this may not be a good fit for me.
Thank you again!

I had one of these B-60s. I paid $500 for mine even though it had a bad motor. When I took it to my tech, he said the main gear was too worn to rebuild. by shear luck, Mike S. had a junk A80, which we learned has the same motor as the B60. So we swapped motors. Then I put it up for sale asking $675. People with Craftsman style homes like this model. I took it to the APS show and the best offer was $575 so I took it. I have seen them go for over $2000 on Ebay!
