Spotted this Wayfair ad today on my Instagram feed. Seriously. Handcrafted in India, with a country of origin being China... at least they’re upfront about things... “authentic-looking,” but “not meant to play records.”

Just wish people would stop purchasing these and kill the market for "pretty looking" fakes.

Well, if in the United States, the original moniker is still the best one. But if overseas, then "gramophonies" would work.

Maybe "Craphophonies" (with apologies to Columbia owners) or Phonygraphs.
