WANTED: Transportation from the DC area to Plainfield, NJ

A buyer in Plainfield wants my Fons turntable advertised elsewhere in the Yankee Trader. I live in Washington, DC's Maryland suburbs around 3.5 hours away. We're hoping perhaps someone might be planning travel from or through the DC area to the Plainfield area and would be kind enough to carry the turntable for us, avoiding the risks of exposing a delicate piece of gear to the tender mercies of the Post Office or UPS.
