Hi, anyone got a RED felt HMV102 turntable in good condition ?

If all else fails, buy any HMV102 turntable and some red felt, which is readily available on eBay in 12 inch squares and in a wide range of colours.
I have used it very successfully on HMV turntables and HMV102 record trays.

If you follow this good advice, check to see which autobrake is fitted. The early "universal" brake uses a different attachment round the centre stem of the turntable.

Thanks for the help but I am only interested in an original.

Did they have red felt? I have a red 101, and I don’t think the platter’s felt is red. Guess I need to check that, though.

Ok now I have to go dig mine out. It’s the one with the gold hardware (“gilt”).
