Edison Wood Cygnet Horn Question

How is the little bracket that the horn is suspended from attached to the horn? I don't mean the part with the spring, but the assembly that is attached directly to the horn. I was looking at a nice horn that is missing that part and I don't know if repros are available or if they are riveted to the horn or screwed on or perhaps another method. I would love photos of the inside and outside of one of these if possible.
Thanks!

The piece is attached with small screws that do not penetrate to the inside of the horn. I suspect that part is available from Don Gfell.

If your wooden horn bell doesn't have mounting holes in it already I'm wondering if the horn was originally for an Edison Opera machine.
I've seen Operas with wooden Triumph horns with the holes filled in.

Bob, I can see the 4 holes where the hanger was once attached.

I bought one off Ebay from the guy in Peru that sells the reproduction wood horns.
