Quite a few at this one! I wouldn't mind having that Vic 4. :)

I like the cabinet on this one (although I'm sure some might feel it's a bit "vanilla" 8-) for their tastes...)

Can anyone discern from the auction picture which manufacture/machine it may be?

There's one lidded tabletop cylinder player that resembles an Amberola 50, but isn't an Edison product. Anyone know the brand? Thanks.

It looks like maybe a Lakeside? Not positive though. It looks to be in good condition. Although all of the phonographs at the auction look to be in good shape.

Bedplate decal looks like it may be a U.S. from Cleveland.

Yep - the lid decal is a U.S. The company made machines & records for M-W (Lakeside) too.

Definitely an off brand. The oak is attractive but the doors of the record compartment are a giveaway- on a higher quality machine the grain patterns would match. Still it's probably decently built (the tone arm is a very good Heineman) and the oak grain makes it more interesting than it would be in Mahogany. A machine like this is great for a beginner who wants something pretty.

Thank you for the information... and a good tip for me to remember on the grain pattern! :rose:
