It's a great deal, IF you live in Ontario...

Otherwise, you can't enter Canada from the US unless you have a blood relative living there and even then, you will need to be quarantined for 14 days...

A steal indeed, but not early. That's a 4 door; the early ones had only 2 doors.

I should have stated "Relatively early...". It is a four-door yet the platter is positioned in the centre which would date the machine to before mid-1926. The next generation had the platter moved to the right and then again the addition of record rails.
I hope a collector takes this machine before some goon sees this as a future liquor cabinet!

I can’t tell what this one is from the photo, but one of my Credenzas has a Victor Talking Machine Company of Canada decal on the lid and a Canadian serial number. The turntable on mine is on the right side though.

There have been several discussions on this forum about where certain machines were made: many "Canadian" machines arrived in pieces in Montreal and were assembled there; that was one way to avoid the import tariffs because it involved Canadian labour to assemble the product.
One would need a closer look at the decal to see where the machine was assembled. Canadian and American decals were pretty much the same design and only the fine print determined the difference.
Wherever this machine was assembled I really hope that someone picks it up because it's a beauty. By the looks of the gold on the tonearm, it has low mileage.

It's gone! I hope a collector got it.
