Fellow Forum Members-

Today, I am offering an exceptional, collector quality, Edison Fireside Model A with a rare painted wood grain cygnet horn. Serial No. 94070. The Model A is the 2-4 minute version of the Fireside. The photos will speak to the high quality of this machine, but here's some important observations:

Machine:
  • Pristine original finish on the case and lid. Only minor wear where lid sits on the bedplate frame.
Original Edison script decal is 100%
Beautiful bedplate paint and the pinstriping is close to 100%
Nice and bright original nickel plating
Motor and 2-4 minute gearing works perfectly
    Strong motor and spring
Great sounding Model K 2-4 minute reproducer, works smoothly
Horn:
  • This is the rare painted oak wood grain cygnet horn
Horn has the early solid mount hanger (correct for a Model A Fireside)
As you can see...paint on both the horn and elbow is excellent...probably 85-90% complete. Very Nice
Nickel plating on the early style cygnet horn support is very nice
All in all, this is one exceptionally sweet machine. Worthy of most any collection. They don't come around too often in this condition, so here's a great opportunity to add a quality machine to your collection.

I have taken lots of photos. PM me if you seriously interested and I'll get you more photos.

Asking $1750 plus the cost of packaging and shipping via Fed Ex.

This will require two boxes. Machine will be double boxed and horn will have a special, custom-made box.

Personal check preferred payment on this one.

Please contact me via PM as to the machine's availability because, in addition to the Forum, it is for sale elsewhere.

Wow, that is a great original machine. It had a very sheltered life.
