I never really need help identifying most models made by victor, but this one really has me puzzled. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Thanks
Martin

That’s a very interesting piece. That horn opening looks suspicious though. Reminds me of the VV 1-70 with those columns. Also, orange felt combined with a pre-orthophonic tonearm seems odd. Hard to tell from the pictures but I also didn’t seem to notice a decal on the lid, and the finish appears to be original. Just my thoughts. It’s a pretty cabinet though.

I saw this one on Marketplace too. It almost looks like someone "dropped in" a tabletop cabinet, and put borrowed Victrola parts to complete the set-up.

I bet it's not a Victrola cabinet, but I'd be interested to find out what company made it.

I’ll take that bet... looks like a VE 10-35.

It does exactly, except the legs are different as well as the door pulls and other embellishments. And yes, the grille is from a 1-70. Nicely done, but a Frankenola.

The needle holder against the back wall is for holding Tungstone needles. It appears this piece was a custom build.

Interesting. Kinda reminds me of this thing I found a few years ago. Must be a handyman machine.
